Aksh Optifibre Limited was incepted in the year 1986 as a Private Limited company. It was converted into a Public Limited company in 1994. The Company is into manufacturing of fibre optic cables with ISO 9000 UL approved plants, fully integrated spread across 60 acres of land at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. Aksh is the second largest company in the Indian Optical Fibre cable industry with a export of 25% of total turnover primarily to Japan..It is listed in BSE, NSE since 2000.

Aksh ventured into IPTV and convergent services in the telecom sector in the year 2006 with its tie-up with major players MTNL and BSNL to roll out IPTV and VoIP services. Aksh is today a leader in IPTV : icontrol services in South East Asia with the largest subscriber base. Aksh Optifibre Ltd is also the first company to introduce IPTV (icontrol) service to rural India opening vistas of entertainment and content. The VoIP services are provided on MTNL Network in Delhi and Mumbai. The IPTV services are provided with MTNL in Delhi, Mumbai and in 20 cities of North India with BSNL.
